Cynthia Riedel - Value Jackson Award Recipient

Congratulations
Cynthia Riedel
Value Jackson Award Recipient

If you have ever stopped in to the Jackson Police Department to ask a question or to resolve an issue, chances are you were greeted with Cynthia's friendly smile.

Cynthia was hired in 2006 as the Information Coordinator for the Jackson Police Department. She has been making sure that the Police Department is running effectively and efficiently ever since.

Terri Schupman selected Cynthia as this month’s recipient. “I came to know Cynthia on a more in-depth level during a remodel of the Police Dept several years ago. It was during this time that Cynthia had to be moved into the Finance Dept while her office was under construction. Her “temporary” office was situated at our front counter during the construction phase and at the same time, the Finance Dept was down to two employees! Not only did Cynthia continue to do her job for the Police Dept, but she took over the front counter of our office doing everything that needed done - from answering the phones; waiting on customers and always if I needed her to do anything else – ALL while always having a smile on her face and exemplifying the Town’s Core Values of providing exceptional customer service and always maintaining the attitude of “it is my job – it is our job”! Pauline and I still comment on this period of time when Cynthia came into our world and how she was our saving grace!!!!
Cynthia is a huge asset to the Town of Jackson and is very deserving of this award!"

Each month one Town of Jackson employee who has demonstrated exemplary levels of one or more of the Town Values:
• Openness
• Innovation
• Respect
• Professionalism
• Positive Workplace
• Stewardship & Conservation
• It Is My Job. It Is Our Job.
….is selected to receive the Value Jackson Award.

Congratulations Cynthia and thank you for all that you do for this wonderful organization and for this community.

If you see Cynthia around, give her a high five and tell her “Congrats!”
