Getting around Jackson is easy! Even if you don't have a car there are several other options for getting around town that you can take advantage of.

Public Transportation

Jackson has an excellent public bus system called START (Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit). It is free to take the bus within town, and very affordable to ride it out to Teton Village, south to Star Valley, or west to Teton Valley, Idaho. Planning a trip outside of Jackson? With the new Ride 2 Fly program you can park for free in the downtown parking garage and schedule an affordable shuttle trip to the Jackson Hole Airport and back again. Visit their website or call (307) 200-1400 for more information and to book a shuttle.


Jackson and Teton County have an extensive bicycle/pedestrian pathway network. Almost anywhere you can think of going is accessible via one of our safe bicycle pathways.
