Seasonal Outdoor Maintenance Events
Burn week: Typically there are two burn weeks, one in May and one in November. The dates are advertised in the local papers. Notify Dispatch (733.2331) when you are planning to do a burn prior to lighting the match. Fire safety rules apply.
Spring cleanup: From the end of April to the beginning of May, compostable bags are available free of charge for yard waste. There is also a designated day where these bags will be picked up curbside for free, as well as a period of time the transfer station will accept them without charge. See the Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling page for details.
Winter street maintenance: In order to keep Jackson's roadways clear during periods of winter weather, parking is prohibited on streets and in public parking lots from November 1st - April 15th from 3am - 7am.
