COLE NETHERCOTT RETIRES FROM JPD

When Cole Nethercott started with the Jackson Police Department he was a fresh-faced explorer.  Over the past 25 years he has served in a variety of positions to include as a Detective, a Corporal, the detective Supervisor, and most Recently as a Lieutenant.

Over the years Cole has made dozens of arrests, taken hundreds of calls, logged thousands of hours, and helped countless people.  Cole was known to be a calming force in chaotic situations, and comforted people on their worst days. He was a shining example of community policing and was always looking out for the community he lives in and loves.

Though he is leaving the department, he will still call Jackson home.  Cole has accepted a job with Lower Valley Energy and we wish him and his family the very best.  He will always be a welcome friend of the department.

Cole stands next to a picture of his younger self at a BBQ in his honor.
