Smith Lane / Simon Lane Construction Update

Construction Information:  The Town of Jackson and Ridgeline Excavation started construction of the Smith-Simon Sewer Replacement Project on Monday, April 16th, with construction completion expected by early June 2018. The project includes replacement of approximately 1125 feet of 8-inch sewer main, 6 sewer manholes, 22 sewer services, 390 feet of 15-inch storm drain, 1 storm drain manhole, 4 storm inlets, concrete curb and gutter, valley gutter, sidewalk repairs, plant mix pavement street repairs, and miscellaneous associates work.

Ridgeline Excavation installed new sanitary sewer manholes and piping along the east side of the Clusters Housing neighborhood and in Smith Lane. Current construction work includes installation of sanitary sewer manholes and piping in Simon Lane, and installation of storm water manholes and piping along the east side of the Clusters Housing neighborhood. 

Upcoming work includes concrete curb and gutter replacement and paving of Smith Lane and Simon Lane.

ACCESS RESTRICTION Information:  Monday, May 14th through Friday, May 25th, Simon Lane access will be restricted to vehicular traffic as construction equipment uses the south side of the roadway for sewer installation.

Pedestrian and bicycle access through the construction zone will be allowed at all times.

Additional Information: Please be aware of, and obey all construction notification signage, and parking restriction signage as it is there for your safety and the safety of the construction workers.
